School Attendance

School attendance is compulsory for children aged 6 to 17. It’s important that as a school, we record and monitor attendance and absences in order to meet the duty of care owed to our students. If your child is absent, please record the details on Compass with an attendance note. 

Parents will be sent an SMS at 9.20am if their child has been recorded as an unexplained absence. In the message, parents will be prompted to enter their child’s absence on Compass if it is approved, or, if they were unaware of the absence, they will be prompted to follow up with their child and/or the school.
