Cancellations Policy: I would like to remind parents/caregivers about our cancellation policy. Our service operates with a ‘No Cancellation Policy‘ to ensure an appropriate ratio of educators as rosters are written based on the number of children booked in for each session. This means that if you no longer require care for a session which you have previously booked (except in the case of illness with a medical certificate provided within 7 days) you will still be charged the full fee for that session. This policy is also applicable to “swapping” sessions.
OSHC Experiences: View the photo slide show to see some of the experiences the children have been involved in during OSHC so far this term:
Caitlin, Tayla and Kira participated in our 'Mini Olympics' on Friday 21st February as the Winter Olympics was coming to an end. The girls received medals they had made themselves for their efforts.
Lachlan extending his own learning using the laptops at OSHC. Technology encourages children to connect their thinking from media to real life as well as interpret communication and languages to problem solve and achieve their desired outcomes.
Ellen taking the opportunity to get homework completed in a secure environment with the OSHC educators able to offer help and support with difficult equations.
Arts and crafts are offered almost every day. The children are able to use their creativity and thinking skills to create masterpieces.
D’Arcie showing her artistic skills with different coloured paints and brushes.
Peg boards and drawing provide fine motor practice as well as creativity and thinking.
Group experiences encourage team work, listening to others ideas, communicating with children of different ages and achieving success.
