Brigidine Day Mass

The focus of many rehearsals this term has been preparing for the upcoming Brigidine Day Mass. All the music is being sung and played by students from RE Music, Marian College Choir, and Gospel Choir - United. We thanks members from all these groups, as well as our ensemble staff Rachel Andrews and Michael Cooper, and our technical support staff Adele Profeta and Pat Bruzzaniti. We are looking forward to the Mass, and the first chance to play again for the whole school since 2019 in an act of service .

Performing Arts Co-Curricular Showcase

The date for our next Showcase has been set for Thursday 1st December, 7-8pm, in the O'Neill Auditorium here on campus. Performances will be given by Creative Music students, and all ensembles, with the finale being performed by every student enrolled in the co-curricular program. Our Performing Arts student leaders chose the duet from Omori. This work is being collaboratively arranged by staff and students. So far the Creative Music violin students, Concert Band flutes and Play Ukelele players have started work, with the rest of the Concert Band students soon to follow. Singers and Choirs will workshop the final stage, and we hope to be rehearsing all together on a regular basis from early in Term 4.

Bookings for the Showcase will be opened in mid-late November, so watch this space for future updates! And if you have any queries about the program please contact me at the College.
