Maths Week

Maths Week

Students participated in a variety of fun, hands-on activities to celebrate Maths Week.

Some amazing and very creative designs were made by students by simply folding circular sheets of paper and sticking them together to create icosahedrons, dodecahedrons, and tetrahedrons.

Another fun activity was creating the ‘Tiny Pants’ photo challenge. This activity was based around the way we perceive size and distance of depth.

Many students also participated in the challenging Australian Mathematics Competition. The results of this competition will be released later in the year.
