VICTORIAN STATE RUNNERS UP 2022

A huge congratulations to all the girls above for being the second best team in the State in soccer - what a fantastic achievement!!  More details will follow in the next newsletter from the girls themselves about their journey (they are currently at school camp).

A huge well done to all of the team and their coach Chris Tsoukalas. And many thanks to   parents and staff for all their support along the way!

The National Individual Cross Country Run- By Callan Duddy

I was so excited to be running nationals with team Victoria. There were 5 other boys in my under 10 age group. Their names were Minaia, Alex, Jenson,Tom and Cooper. In the individual 2km run there were 36 other kids from other states. There were only 7 of the 8 States and Territories there. The 7 States and Territories that were there were ACT, Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria. It was a really hilly and muddy course, which meant it was a hard course. It was really hard to run on but I did really well and placed 14th out of 42 kids with a time of 7.31. The rest of the boys for Victoria also did really well, Alex came 10th, Jenson came 3rd, Minaia came 15th, Tom came 19th and Cooper came 22nd. After the run we were given badges to trade with the other states. I collected all of the other states' badges except Northern Territory because they were not there.
