Message from Troy

We have had an incredibly busy start to the term filled with exciting events. This past fortnight we have had Tuck Shop and the library is currently being transformed ready for Book Week. We would also like to welcome new students Hamish and Angus Charlton who have started recently in Stephen and Sallie's classroom.

Gratitude Tree

For those of you who have walked down the hall passage may have noticed something new. Our gratitude tree is up and sitting facing into the corridor ready for everyone's positive messages. Every student at Uraidla Primary School will be given a leaf or flower each Friday to place on the tree. We are hoping for the tree to grow through the passage and remind us of all the positive things around us in our day to day lives. We hope you can come in next week and start reading our first supply of leaves to our tree.

Parent survey

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that the parent survey is currently open and we would love your feedback. It takes approximately ten minutes to complete and provides us information with

  • what we’re doing well
  • where we can improve
  • what’s important to you.

Here is the link to access the survey

Your answers will not identify you or your child. Only collated feedback will be provided to our school.

Information collected will inform school improvement planning and activities at the school.

The survey closes 5pm Sunday 28 August.

Assembly

Well done to Sam's class for Week 3 Assembly. It was fantastic to see lots of families attend. At the end of our assembly it was great to see our senior students reading to students of all ages across the school and promoting that love of reading. Here are a few images that were captured.

Margie's Trip

Margie has sent a message to say hello from Canada. She is having a wonderful time in Nova Scotia with her mum and is enjoying the nice warm summer weather. Here are a few pictures from her trip.

Tuck Shop

It was great to see so many students excited about Kelly's Tuck shop. There was a variety of delicious treats ready for students to eat today.
