Here we are at Week 4, and the school year is very much off and running.  

I am so excited to be a part of the LNPS community and feel privileged to be able to share in the journey of your children’s learning.  It is lovely to see all the new reception children settling in, making new friends and gaining confidence in their new role as school student. 

My contact hours at LNPS have now been established.  If you would like meet or speak with me I will be on site:

Wednesday: 9.30am  –  3.30pm

Thursday:  9.00am – 2.00pm

Friday:  8.30am – 12.30pm   

Parents/carers, please feel free to come and say hello if you see me in the yard.  Or, alternatively, you can email me at Sandra.altmann875@schools.sa.edu.au or phone the school office on 8443 5544.

Students can contact me at recess or lunch time when they see me in the school grounds, or leave a message for me in the ‘Owl Box’ located near the entrance door of the Tirkandi library.

One of my roles as CPSW is to be a resource to parents and carers of the LNPS community. 

One of the ways I can do this is to pass on parenting seminars and information that I become aware of that may be helpful. Two flyers can be found in the Community sectionof this newsletter that may be helpful for parenting issues.

Firstly a flyer setting out a series of positive parenting seminars throughout 2014 run by the Effective Living Centre.  These seminars are located at Wayville. 

The second flyer relates to a Toolbox parenting course for early years (0-6 years).  This course runs over a series of weeks and is located at Brooklyn Park.  I have some hard copy flyers for this course if you were interested and wanted to share the information with friends.
