Captains Corner

by Lexie, Isobel, Joshua & Weihan

Soon, the Year Sixes will be facing their final term of primary school, and we have many things that we are looking forward to. Here are the many things that we school captains are excited about.

Isobel- One of the many things that I am looking forward to is the Year Six Graduation. Last year I was able to help set up the Graduation, and I have been to my brother’s graduation, so I know what they are like. I am really looking forward to reflecting on my memories of my schooling, and enjoying a really fun day with my friends, celebrating us moving onto high-school. I am also excited for fun day, as we will be doing some fun activities that the teachers have planned for us. Every year at this school we have had a fun day, and I will really treasure my last one.

Weihan - As Term Four draws closer, I realise that the year is coming to an end and I am looking forward to Term Four. Something that I am excited about for next term is the Graduation. I will enjoy spending time with my peers before heading off to our allocated high schools. I will also be looking forward to the Year Six Swimming Day. It will be a fun and energetic day when everyone will enjoy themselves. We will make the most out of this day. We will need to spend as much time with our peers and enjoy our company for as long as possible. There will be many events in term four but I am especially looking forward to these. As a captain, I have really enjoyed being a role model to all my peers and will miss this school once I leave it.

Lexie - As the term ends, I’m slowly realising that primary school is coming to a close. I have had a lot of great moments throughout my time here some of which will stay with me forever. Something I am looking forward to for Term 4 is making the most of the time I have left with my friends. I am going to miss them but I know I will make new friends at my new high school. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing and supporting group that makes me laugh and I hope that going into Year 7 I get the opportunity to experience that again. Something else I am excited about is an event that is occurring in the first week of Term 4. This event is going to be at Aquarena for the day and having fun with our peers. I can’t wait to spend time with friends and have fun in the water. We are also going on inflatables and I can’t wait to do that either.

Joshua –As Term 3 has comes to an end I am anticipating for the many events in Term 4, our final term of Primary School. Before becoming school captain in 2021, I was able to take a peek at what the Graduation was like in the gym, this is something I am really looking forward too. I will definitely miss this school and the growing community of amazing teachers and students I am a part of at the moment, and also hope for the many memories I will make in Term 4 with my Doncaster Primary School friends as soon we are all going to split up into different schools. Something I am also excited for is fun day, as it will be very fun, casual and create many moments I would remember and cherish for life.
