Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge 2022

Congratulations to all DPS students who completed the Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge for 2022, which ended Friday 2nd September. There were a total of 108 students who completed the challenge, and as a school more than 4200 books were read. What a fantastic effort!

Certificates will be handed out in Term 4 for those who completed the challenge.

Message from the Premier

Well done on completing the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge.

You were one of more than 66,000 school students and 8,000 young children who completed the Premiers’ Reading Challenge this year.

Together, you read more than 2.6 million books - a real achievement, and one that took lots of library loans, night lights and page turning.

Thank you to all the parents, carers, teachers, librarians and school communities who encouraged children and students to complete the Challenge and helped build lifelong literacy skills.

I hope you enjoyed discovering new story adventures in this year’s Challenge. I look forward to you joining in again next year.

Congratulations.

Dan Andrews Premier of Victoria
