Lots of students engaged in science activities as part of our 'Change and Transformation' Inquiry unit this week. Our Preppies observed the changes that happen to jelly crystals when you add hot water, while our 5/6 students have been participating in a range of scientific tasks. Be sure to ask your child what they got up to this week!
1/2J conducted an experiment called 'Walking Water'. They filled three glasses with water and food colouring and then placed paper towel in each glass. The colours moved between the glasses and created new colours. Looks like lots of fun!
Our junior students recently celebrated Tree Day. They got out into our beautiful winter garden working with our resident 'Cultivating Victoria' teacher, Kresta. Students helped to weed, plant and manage the garden and created some interesting images of trees using plants from the garden.
