World Challenge 2020

The 2020 World Challenge kicks off next year in November. This incredible trip will take you to Malaysia and Borneo for an experience you will never forget. For any students interested, please see Ms VandenBerg in the VCE area for more information, details and a brochure.

Senior Badminton

On the 12th of May, a group of twenty-four Year 11s and Year 12s competed in the Senior Badminton Round Robin with three other schools in the Monash area.

It was an exciting day filled with the spirit of friendly competition, where we were able to enjoy each other’s company whilst getting competitive in our singles matches, cheering each other on and working together for our doubles matches.

The best part was being able to make new friends across the year levels and schools, even though we were all exhausted.

The Senior Boys A&B and Senior Girls B teams came in close second place in their divisions, they all worked extremely hard and played excellent matches.

After many matches (and many breaks), the Senior Girls A Team managed to come first place in their division and will be progressing to the Eastern Region Division next term.

Senior badminton provides everyone with an excellent opportunity to make new friends (and friendly rivals), hone skills and have fun.

If you are not a national player, no sweat, (we aren’t either), everyone can join in, and we hope to see you guys there.

This year’s senior badminton was an absolutely smashing success and we hope that it will be this much fun next year.

Regional Exchange Homestay - Term 3

We are seeking some families willing to accommodate the visiting regional students in Term 3 as part of the homestay arrangement for the duration of their time here at JMSS.

Dates are as follows:-
