Material Design

Students in 860 and 867 have been working on their 'Fork Wall Hook' projects in Mr Bechaz Material Design classes. 

This task has allowed students to explore their creativity by manipulating everyday kitchen forks into another functional product that can be used around the home, as well as realising the capabilities of Sustainability from a whole new perspective.  

Wood Technology

Those students in Mr Bechaz Wood Technology classes have also been unveiling their imaginations with the design and construction of Wooden Amplifiers for mobile phones.    A relatively simple process, but with significant results. 

This type of project uses minimal materials, yet allows students to display their originality and dexterity.

Home Eco - Its Up to You

On Tuesday afternoon, students in Ms Dowsett's Year 9 Home Eco class cooked delicious Risotto dishes!

Risotto is an Italian dish of rice cooked in stock with ingredients such as vegetables and meat or seafood.  It is one of the most common ways of cooking rice in Italy.  Many types of risotto contain butter, wine, and onion.
