Resilience Activities
Last week's resilience topic was: 'Upacking the school moto'.
What does 'Respice Lucem' mean? The English translation is ‘Look for Light’.
LHS students can describe what our school logo looks like. Most of them can probably tell you what our school moto is (Respice Lecum). But how many can tell you what ‘Respice Lucem’ means?

Year 9 students had a wonderful time during the 3 Day City Experience program around the city of Melbourne!
Duke of Ed Practice Journey

As part of the Duke of Ed Bronze certificate, Year 9 students participated in a practice journey.
During the journey, students were assessed on their food and menu planning, navigation, group management and camp skills.

Year 9 & 10 Level Assembly
On Wednesday, to celebrate the end of Term 3, Middle School Captains, Cailey Nolan, Chloe Lea and Lachlan Johnson and selected Year 9 and 10 students lead the year level assembly.
Students spoke about the following Year 9 and 10 school activities that have taken place during Terms 2 and 3;

In addition, our Italian exchange student, Lucy Mosciatti was interviewed during the assembly to talk about her experiences at Lilydale High School and Australia.
Rachel Bevens (Year 9) and Seph Marceddo (Year 10) were randomly selected as winners of the 100% Attendance Award for Term 3.
At the end of the assembly, students enjoyed a muscial perfomance by Angelina Pitasi singing 'Jealous' by Labrynth, Tash Vrsecky singing 'Money' by ABBA and Dylan Dent playing 'Axel F' on Piano.
