Clean Up Australia Day

Grade 6 / Year 7 Sports Day

This week, we had Grade 6 vs Year 7  Sports Day. We played against many schools including; Yarra Glen, Mooroolbark East, Seville, Coldstream, Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Lilydale West, Kilsyth and Bimbadeen Heights.  We also played our old primary school, Lilydale Primary. We were undefeated until our last couple of games, when there became a draw.

The whole day was a round robin event, and the sports we participated in were newcomb, dodge n run, octopus and doctor dodge before lunchtime.  After lunch we finished off with island footy and skittles. It was time for the awards, our primary school won a trophy for one of the activities, but the overall winners were Chirnside Park Primary.  Hopefully Lilydale Primary can take home another trophy next year.

Thanks to the Grade 6's for a great day. Seville Primary School, was also there, they did really well, they came first in doctor dodge. After a fun day outside in the nice weather we all got an icy pole to cool off.

We all sat down for the award ceremony and congratulated all the winners. Over all,  it was an amazing day, we all had so much fun and hopefully the Grade 6's  did too. We would love to see all the Grade 6's next year playing against all the new Grade 6's!!!
