We Will Rock You.......

'We Will Rock You’ is underway!  Auditions happened during Week 4,  and put both Mr Bleakley and Ms Cumming “Under Pressure”.

It was so encouraging to see so many people auditioning, though it made decision making extremely tricky, Mr Bleakley and Ms Cumming turned to each saying “I Want [Them] All”.  Of course we can’t have every person in our show, but even those who weren’t listed in the on-stage cast, we still really value your contribution and hope to see you as part of other roles such as front of house, backstage and technology. It takes a lot more than actors to make a show!

In a “Flash” it was Week 5 of Term 1 and our production was cast, actors notified and we rushed “Headlong” into our first rehearsal! After some getting to know you activities and a “Crazy Little Thing Called…” a ‘woosh’, we started singing. Even though there is still a lot to work on, already it sounded like “A Kind Of Magic”.

A reminder that we will be rehearsing from 3 pm - 5 pm every Monday and Thursday as “These Are The (Rehearsal) Days Of Our Lives”. The event should now be showing on Compass for all students and parents. Every time we look at the list of people who need to pay and confirm consent “Another One Bites The Dust”, so we really appreciate you being so fast on that parents.
