CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
Clay Pigeon Shooting
There has been much interest in Clay Pigeon Shooting this year from the new students at LHS. In addition, a number of Year 8 and Year 9 students have also displayed an interest in trying out this unique sporting opportunity.
Pictured above are some of our new shooters who attended Melbourne Gun Club last Wednesday after school to try this activity. Several students have already shown considerable interest in continuing with the activity and have started the process of obtaining their Junior Shooting Permit and Licence to enable them to compete in Inter School events later in the year.
A couple in particular have displayed considerable natural ability and are close on the heels of some of the more experienced shooters in their ability already.
I am confident that we will again be able to achieve some impressive results at the State Championships this year.
