The Math Olympiads are a series of contests, primarily focused on developing student’s problem solving skills and important mathematical knowledge, in a fun and enjoyable environment. The Math Olympiads require lots of focus and hard work from students, particularly when practising the problem solving skills.

Children will participate in weekly Math Olympiad sessions, where they will be practising the mathematical skills needed to compete in such contests. They will learn how to apply these skills to a number of challenging mathematical problems and will be asked to practise their skills at home.

There are 5 Math contests throughout 2017. To participate formally, your child will need to pay an entrance fee of $10. This will cover all 5 contests throughout the year and the necessary equipment required. There is no travel requirement involved as the contests will be administrated at school, during school hours.
