First Day Student Conferences

To establish a foundation for successful learning, Shepparton High School will be holding Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences again in 2015. 

The First Day Conferences take place on Friday 30th January. The purpose of these conferences is to enable all students, parents and teachers an opportunity to establish and continue to develop their relationships at the beginning of the school year.  

The establishment of student learning goals is an important part of the process, involving students in the development of skills for independent learning.  It also gives us an opportunity to discuss responsibilities and expectations for the school year. 

There will be no scheduled classes on this day. All enrolled students, accompanied by at least one parent/guardian (preferably both) are asked to come to school and meet with their Teacher Adviser for a 15 minute conference on Friday 30th January 2015. An online booking system will be used to schedule appointments for this day.

Details were posted to all families prior to the Christmas break regarding this change to the school year including instructions on how to make appointments using the online system or alternatively by contacting the General Office by phone 5821 4322.
