Coding Club Update

The projects have begun!

Although we are only in the early stages of our projects, the students in the Coding Club have begun their journey! There has been talk of doughnut dispensers, interactive houses and even some Get Fit apps.

The Coding Club is a chance to think of a problem that is being faced and try and create a solution for the 21st century.

Over the next few weeks we will be able to have a look at some of our 'Techsperts' and see what they are going to be creating and bringing into the world!

What's happening in the classroom?

On Wednesday, 4th March, the Year 3/4 community explored their digital footprint. They had the chance to discuss where their information is kept and the idea of their own digital footprint.

A digital footprint is the information that exists on the Internet as a result of your own online activity. This can be as simple as looking at photos of cats or complex such as an entire conversation you are having with your friends.

The Year 3/4 community discussed the importance of remaining polite, respectful and aware when they are using any digital tool. They have committed themselves to creating a positive impact both in the physical world and in the digital world.
