APLI Annual Forum
Wednesday 5th September 2018
Later in 2018, APLI will be holding its annual forum. This is an important event for our organisation, as it is our main opportunity for members and interested parties to meet in a face-to-face setting. The purposes of the meeting are to:
- Highlight current APLI activities in the Asia Pacific region
- Provide an update regarding the development of palliative care in India as part of Project Hamrahi
- Attract new members and recruit additional volunteer mentors to assist with the above work
Since 2016, we have held the forum adjacent to another palliative care conference in order to allow attendees to potentially combine two professional events. With the conference for the Australian and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine being held in Sydney this year, the details for our forum this year are:
- Date: Wednesday 5 September
- Venue: University of Technology Sydney
- Time: Registration from 08:00, conclusion by 15:00
- Speakers will include Odette Spruyt, Christine Drummond, Joan Ryan, Brett Sutton and Anil Tandon
Keep an eye out for further details in the coming months but in the meantime please save the date and be sure to allow an extra day in Sydney if you are attending the ANZSPM conference.
