District Swimming Championships

On Friday 22nd February our Rowville Primary School Swim Team competed in the District Swimming Championships.

Lead by our Captains Corey and Rebecca the team did a magnificent job!

They trained hard, attending two early morning pool sessions prior to the event, and then performed extremely well as a team, with many of our swimmers placing in the top three in their individual A and B events and relays. Rowville ended up finishing third overall in the District, which was a great achievement!

A HUGE congratulations to the following team members who have now qualified for the Knox Division Swimming Championships, after their outstanding District results:

Rebecca -12 year girls backstroke, butterfly and freestyle relay

Macarni - 12 year girls freestyle and freestyle relay

Lachlan -10 year boys freestyle and freestyle relay

Hudson - 10 year boys breaststroke and freestyle relay

Mahkayla - 12 year girls freestyle relay

Neha - 12 year girls freestyle relay

Zac - 10 year boys freestyle relay

We eagerly await the results from todays Knox Divison Swimming!
