Playgroup

Playgroup has had a a busy couple of weeks with plenty of nice weather.  Families got to play on the playground which greatly supported the children in developing gross motor skills.  Lots of laughter was heard!

On rainy days, we stayed indoors with activities that focused on positive management of emotions.  Families got to learn some simple and useful mindfulness techniques, such as breathing and stretching exercises.  We then settled in for some relaxing and engaging stories and nursery rhymes.

English Classes

English classes have been filled with active conversations and discussions about topics of interest.  These sessions also focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.  Each topic is designed around the needs and interests of the participants.  This helps the sessions to be engaging, meaningful and valuable to everyone involved.  This week, we had 5 dentist students from the University of Adelaide who came in to teach us about dental health.

We provide free childminding for all of our English classes.  Please contact Mai if you are interested in attending.

Parenting Support Group

Relationship Australia South Australia currently offers free support for parents and caregivers in a group setting, especially in stress management.  Please contact Mai to book a session.  Click here to find out more about the program.
