There are many aspects of school life that we are all missing, but over the past 18 months we have come to appreciate that, whilst we find ourselves in challenging circumstances, there is much to be gained. Kilbreda families are working hard to remain connected. Kilbreda students are engaging in online lessons and supporting one another. Kilbreda staff are providing continuity of learning and wellbeing for students and continuing to support our community through this very challenging time.

GAT

A new date for the General Achievement Test (GAT) is yet to be released by the VCAA. We will keep families informed when new information is made available to us.

Year 12 Information Evening

Originally scheduled for next Thursday 26 August was an information evening for Year 12 students and parents, this evening has now been postponed to a date TBC. This night will provide families with information regarding the GAT, the Consideration of Education Disadvantage (CED) process and end of year examinations. Once more details have been released by VCAA we will announce a new date.

VCAL Showcase

Due to current restrictions we are unable to hold the VCAL Showcase at the College next week. Therefore, we have moved the date to Tuesday 31 August at 7.00pm. 

This event will be live streamed via ZOOM for families to hear from the Senior VCAL Students. We look forward to sharing this evening with you.

Elevate Education – Parent Webinars

A new parent webinar is being advertised by Elevate Education. This will take place on Wednesday 1 September ‘Exam Homestretch’. This session is designed to help parents support their child in the final weeks of VCE.
