Sport

At the time of writing the last newsletter school sport was good to go and we were looking forward to a few busy weeks ahead after several of the SCSA days that we had missed had been rescheduled. Fast forward two weeks and here we are in lockdown again! At this time, SCSA Soccer, SCSA Volleyball may be rescheduled. However, we will be unable to participate in the Victorian Netball Championships.

SEGAP sport is unable to be rescheduled. We look forward to the Term 4 softball and tennis competitions.

SCSA Aerobics training continues Wednesdays via Microsoft Teams and if this event is unable to be held in person it will be run remotely as it was last year.

We thank all the students who have been trialling for teams since Term 2. It has been quite a commitment to attend trials and training sessions without participating in the competition. School lockdowns have definitely made it very challenging for the sport department

We encourage all students to participate actively in their Physical Education classes and make the most of time away from their computers and phones to engage in numerous forms of practical activities like beach walks, bike rides, yoga and pilates classes, walking the dog, swimming at the beach and ball sports in the backyard.

We look forward to starting SEGAP Tennis and Softball trials when we return to the College.
