On Thursday November 1st, the Kingswood Senior Choir teamed up with the Glee Clubs from Dingley Primary, St Mark's Primary and Parktone Primary to join several Dandenong district schools at Harmony Square in Dandenong for the annual Music: Count Us In event.

Each year, the 3 student winners of a nationwide competition collaborate with professional songwriters to create a song that schools around Australia get together and sing on this particular day. The event is designed to promote Music Education nationally, and Kingswood has been participating for over a decade!

Our students also performed a song of their own choice and sang beautifully. They were excellent role models and represented Kingswood well. Thank you to the parents who came and supported us and a special thank you to Kristy Smith, mother of Madeline, who accompanied us on this excursion.
