At Hackham East Primary School, we run a breakfast program on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. This program provides a healthy breakfast for students who may otherwise arrive at school hungry.

This is run in conjunction with KICKSTART FOR KIDS. KICKSTART FOR KIDS is the only South Australian organisation that provides a breakfast and lunch program for children in South Australia. KICKSTART FOR KIDS provides the supplies we need to run our breakfast program as well as organising volunteers to help it run smoothly.

Like last year, we are holding a “Happy Day” on Friday 15 November (Week 5) to raise money for KICKSTART FOR KIDS. This is their biggest fundraiser for the year and helps fund next year's breakfast programs. Students will have the opportunity to wear casual clothes for a gold coin donation.
