Water Polo

On Wednesday 25 September 2019, 11 Year 9 girls competed in the School Sport Water Polo 9/10 Championship. The competition had a total of 9 schools involved and the girls showed great stamina having to play 8 x 20 minute games in a row. At the end of the day the girls finished on the podium in third place not far behind Melville and Newman College. All of the girls worked incredibly well together throughout the day, showing great team spirit and sportsmanship. Thank you to Miss Jessica Pillera for supervising and coaching our girls on the day.

Our Years 9/10 boys water polo team came home victorious as the 2019 Water Polo Champion School! Well done to all players and their coach Mr Mitchell Osborn.

Congratulations to the Claremont Colts who won their grand final appearance at Optus Stadium last weekend. John XXIII boys playing on the day include Year 12 students, Jake Wilson and Logan Young.
