Year 1's Wonderful Work

In Year 1 we have been editing and publishing our holiday recounts.

We edit our work to fix grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalisation.

We are really proud of our published pieces of writing.

In Maths we have been learning about Fractions. We know halves, thirds, quarters and eighths.

We made fraction flowers to help us.

This week, the Grade 1 students got to experience the Virtual Reality Googles. They were mesmerised by what they saw. Because they were so amazing, the Grade 1’s wrote a letter to Mr Millar, trying to convince him to buy enough of them for the entire school.
