Rugby 7's

Year 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12 boys Rugby 7's traveled to Wagga to compete in the Brumbies 7's competitions. The boys were up against some outstanding teams throughout the day and played their hearts out. The year 9/10 and 11/12's teams had a trying day coming up against some very talented teams. Both teams were able to score points throughout the day and stay close to their oppositions and should be proud of their efforts and attitude.

The Year 7/8 team had Marian's most successful day at this tournament with the team going through undefeated all the way through to the grand final where fatigue and a strong Kildare side unfortunately got the better of them. All the boys put in outstanding performances, and in particular Patu Tora, the bash brother (Jack and Luke Canon) and Mason Wintergreen lead the team around the park whilst displaying some incredible rugby skills. The boys are off the Canberra to take on the regions best on the 13th of September. 

Congratulations to all the players involved and a special thanks to the other coaches Miss Scarfone and Mr Le Cornu.

Year 7/8 and 9/10's Girls participated in the Brumbies High School Rugby 7's tournament in Wagga. Both teams did exceptionally well and made it through to the semi finals where they met some very tough competition. The girls tackled and played their hearts out all day and should be very proud!
