Faith and Wellbeing Assistant Principal's Report

Soup Kitchen
On Monday 21 November five students attended the Missionaries of Charity Soup Kitchen and assisted with meal preparation and clean up, chatted to the guests and prayed with the Sisters. As always it was a blessing to be there. Emily Lalor, Daniel White, Angela Cremona, Cameron Ware and Ronan Lobo were great ambassadors for Nazareth and put our faith into action.
St Anthony’s Tutoring
Our College is continuing to send students each week to St Anthony’s Primary School in Noble Park assisting the primary students with their homework. There is a cheer from the St Anthony’s students each week when we arrive and our students also are enriched by this experience. It is a great way of us living out our call to love and serve our younger neighbours.
Trivia Night – Now Friday 8 November
We have postponed the date and are now hosting a Trivia Night on 8 November to raise funds for the students attending the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Perth in December. It starts at 6:30pm in the Wheeler Auditorium and should be a great and enjoyable night that builds community as well as raises some funds for the Pilgrimage to Perth. Any students or families wishing to attend, please book through Trybooking at https://www.trybooking.com/BGNPT
Mood
As we journey through the term there continues to be a very positive mood and feel in our community. We are consistently seeing students reaching out to support fellow students, especially those in need, and students enjoying time together. It is a joy to be a part of such a friendly community.
Uniform
As we move more deeply into Term 4, a reminder that the expectations of students’ dress standard remains in place until the end of the year. If there is an issue with school uniform please send your son or daughter to school with a note.
Thursday Mass
A reminder that there is Mass held every Thursday at 8.10 am in the College Chapel and all members of our community are most welcome to attend. It is a most blessed and beautiful way to start the day.
