Winter Appeal

Student Ministry is collecting donations for our Winter Appeal. We are collecting warm winter clothing such as jackets, scarves, beanies, new socks and blankets.

We are also collecting donations of non-perishable food items such as pasta, rice, noodles, canned food, long life milk and juice, tea, coffee, milo, biscuits. All donations can be bought into the Student Ministry.  Our target is 1500 food items  this year,  so please dig deep and support this worthy cause. All donations will be given to the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal and Shopfront.  We will run this appeal for four weeks, concluding on Friday, June 19.

Knitting Club

For those who would like to knit at home, we require knitted squares about 40 rows and 40 stitches. These can be knitted or crocheted. These squares are then joined to make blankets for the Smile Foundation in Indonesia. We are grateful for the support of lots of families who continue to knit all year round.

If you are doing a bit of a clean out over the holidays, the Knitting Club is always after donations of wool. Please bring in your donations of wool to the College Reception or Student Ministry.

If you have any questions about this, please email me at mkyd@norbert.wa.edu.au.
