Getting to Know our Team - Part 4

The Staff Team at CURIOSITY ELC continues to grow as we welcome new children and farewell staff.

Over the past few weeks we have welcomed Mrs Michelle Filmer and Mrs Janine Panagiotou to our Lead Educator role for the Orange Team as we said our farewell to Mrs Chew in Week 6.  It has been wonderful to see the children build some strong attachments to these two new staff members who will be working with us throughout our holiday period.

I am very excited to announce that we have appointed a new Lead Educator for the Orange Team who will commence with us in Term 2.  For those already part of our Good Shepherd Community you will know of Mrs Leanne Oborn who is currently teaching Foundation at the school.  Leanne comes with many years of experience teaching in the early years, from local Kindergartens to classrooms in Junior Primary.  Her love for early learning is so evident in the way that she partners with the children to activate their own thinking and promote agency in their learning.  I have spent time in Leanne's classroom and know that she is going to bring something very special to our team.  Leanne will introduce herself more in our next update.  We give thanks to God for this appointment and look forward to seeing the children at Curiosity flourish under her leadership in our team.
