Collage and Silhouette Artworks - Year 8 Art

Create a collage of your choice, it may have a theme or just be random

Find a silhouette shape that you like such as an animal or flower, surfer, whatever…

Use the silhouette to create a stencil, having completed the collage background and using a foam roller and paint print the stencil onto the collage background (I will explain in class)

We are doing this exercise so that you can see the effect of the Principles: Figure and Ground and Balance

There will be a variety of other Elements and Principles involved but these are the dominant ones
