WA Young Volunteer of the Year

On the last week of Term 2 Marcus Wong, who is a filmmaker and graphic designer, came to talk to the Year 6 students about his experience in Uganda and Ethiopia, as a volunteer.

He made a video about his time in Uganda and how he helped the children who had been abandoned or lost. While he was living in a foster home he made a documentary about their life. He encouraged us not to just think of what we're doing for ourselves and also to think of what you do for others and those less fortunate people in the world.
