During week one, students in physical education celebrated Naidoc Week by participating in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander games. The students learned about the origins of the games and played them with much enthusiasm demonstrating the fundamental skills of running, jumping, throwing, catching, strengthening and tracking. We played many games, including Bram Bahl ( jumping), Yak-ka ( work ), Gumml ( spear ) and Weme ( stone ).

Skipathon

Many thanks to all those parents who helped their children raise a fantastic total of $1683.85 for the PP, Year 1, 2 and 3  Skipathon. The funds raised will enable our school to purchase much needed daily fitness and playground sports equipment. A big thank you to the amazing students who demonstrated excellent skill and stamina on the day. What a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to Archer Bruins who won the Rebel Sport Voucher.
