COVID-19 special edition

Dear parents and carers of BNW. This week's newsletter is focussed on the response to COVID-19 from our school, school council and community. This newsletter is lengthy, however we hope the information enclosed is helpful to all our families.

We wish you all a safe holiday and hope you are able to get some rest after a challenging few months. We are thinking of all of you and we look forward to seeing all your warm faces in the not-too-distant future.

bnwps closed for term 1

Brunswick North West Primary School is closed for Term 1, 2020. Any changes to Term 2's 'normal routine' will be communicated to families before the end of the holidays, with the most up-to-date information available. At this stage, Tuesday 14th April is a student-free day and it looks like many schools will move to remote learning from Wednesday 15th April, awaiting confirmation from the Chief Health Officer.

Our printed calendar of Term 2 dates is expected to have significant changes, this is also possibly true for Term 3, 2020. The school, school council and CET are working to revise our calendar community events in light of COVID-19 and we will get these dates to our community as soon as possible. In the meantime, make sure you have access to our public calendar and please check this week's school council page for an update from our president and CET.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

communications survey

The Communications Working Party is seeking your feedback on the way Brunswick North West Primary School (BNW) communicates with the school community. We are working with school staff to make sure that communications between the school and parents/carers are clear, consistent and efficient. We will use this information to help the school to streamline and enhance its communications with the school community.

This survey is anonymous, and should take around 5–10 minutes.
