Our music students are once again very busy with a number of exciting events coming up over the coming weeks
As we come to the end of the year we have several opportunities to celebrate as a community.
Events This Weekend
This weekend we have a number of events commencing with the Year 12 Academic Assembly on Friday evening at Bonython Hall. On Saturday a small ensemble will be performing on stage at 11:30am at the Prospect Spring Fair at Broadview Oval. We would love to see you there.
Finally, on Sunday the Big Band Theory will perform in the under croft area at the St Dominic’s Fete at 11:30am. The fete is always a strong community event.
Music Soiree
On Monday 5 November, we will be hosting our final Music Soiree in the Fr James O'Doherty Performing Arts Centre. The Soiree will commence at 6:30pm and tickets can be purchased via the link https://www.trybooking.com/YZPN It is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate as a community for one of the final events for the 2018.
A Boutique Life Design Market Event
If any students would like to perform at the Boutique Life Design Market Event on Sunday 11 November a nomination form will be put up in the Music Room. All students will be responsible for the set-up and pieces performed on the day.
Application for Instrumental Lessons 2019
Applications to Instrumental Lessons for 2019 will be sent home this week. Please forward applications to Ms Anastasia Lambis in the Front Office. All students continuing on with instruments will need to reapply and submit a new form.
Gumbo Ya!Ya! 30th Anniversary
On Friday 16 November Charli Holoubek’s band Gumbo Ya! Ya! will celebrate it’s 30th year anniversary with a performance at the Arkaba hotel. Please see the attached flyer for further details.
