Primary Co-Curricular
Primary Co-Curricular Report
The Term 4 Summer season has started with cricket, tennis and water polo teams in action.
The Primary B1 Cricket team didn’t get to play on Saturday as St Paul's were unavailable due to school camps. The Year 3/4/5 team toughed out a close win against St Michael's at St Michael's. All boys arrived on time and were dressed in appropriate school uniforms which was encouraging.
Mr Vo’s B1 tennis team had a close win against CBC at the Prospect Tennis Club. The windy conditions proved challenging for all players and tested their skills and patience. Miss Schenk’s B2 team travelled to St Peters and were tied four sets a piece, but won on individual games. Mrs West’s Year 4/5 team went down at home to PAC 2 with Brenton being the sole winner in the team.
Cancellations
On Tuesdays, in the event of inclement weather which may affect training, any cancellations will be broadcast through the notices on the SEQTA portal. Students are also presented with the opportunity to contact parents by phone through the Student Office to make alternative transport arrangements for the evening. If you haven’t heard from your son directly, please consult the SEQTA page for notifications.
Heat: when the forecast temperature in The Advertiser newspaper is for 35 degrees or more on any week day, all training and games are cancelled except for Water Polo.
Saturday mornings: families will need to travel to the appropriate venues and the officials/teachers at the venue will make a call on whether the game proceeds.
Soccer and Basketball Uniforms
All soccer and basketball uniforms lent to families during Terms 2 and 3 need to be returned in washed and tidy condition as soon as possible. Thank you to the families that have already done so.
