Summer Co-Curricular
Summer co-curricular sport training and games for Term 4 have commenced. This is a short term for Summer sport with Senior fixtures finishing at the end of Week 5 and Middle (Year 8 and 9) fixtures finishing at the end of Week 6. The Term 4 training schedule is attached. A reminder that it is an expectation that students who participated in a Summer sport during Term 1 continue to play that same sport in Term 4. All fixtures and information are available via SEQTA in the Co-Curricular section. Any changes to fixtures will be updated there.
Co-Curricular Nominations 2019
Co-Curricular nominations for students in Year 10, 11 and 12 in 2019 will be conducted during Term 4 2018 using EDVAL Web Choice. Information will be distributed to students in Home Group during Week 3 regarding the process of how to nominate. It is expected all students participate in at least one co-curricular sport or activity for Blackfriars. Any student who plays for any sporting club, must also represent Blackfriars in that same sport when the school sport program is taking place.
Student Achievements
Congratulations to Isaiah Lee who participated in the 2018 National Junior Table Tennis Championships held in Townsville. Isaiah achieved the following in the U/15 age group: Doubles Gold, Team Bronze, Individual 4th and No. 2 Order of Merit.
