SWIMMING CARNIVAL
This week permission notes and nomination forms were handed out to children who are 8 or older. Our swimming carnival is approaching and so a big thank you to all the people who have returned their permission notes. Please return these as soon as possible. Thank you to the many parents who have offered to help out on the day. You will receive a note early next week indicating which job you have been given.
The carnival will be commencing at 9:00am sharp, so please have your children at the pool at 8:30am. In the event of wet weather, please look at the school Facebook page, St Nicholas Sport Facebook page or the school website. If you do not hear anything then the carnival will be going ahead (even if it is raining or forecast). If the carnival is postponed, then it will be school as normal for the children.
POLDING SUMMER TRIALS
On Friday 8th February we have 5 children travelling to Lismore to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Summer Trials. We wish the following children the best of luck: Sophie McMullen, Cooper Holzigal, Sam Peeters, Charlie Whale and Zachary Lasker for Basketball and Ben Cini for Tennis.
CRICKET
Just a reminder for those playing cricket that the season recommences this Saturday 2nd February. Please check the Tamworth Junior Cricket Association website for game times and locations.

ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER
Don't forget to apply for your Active Kids Voucher. This is a rebate of a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children. The $100 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities. Every child (4.5 - 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 is eligible. It will not be means tested and one voucher will be available for every child in the family annually over the next four years. There will be no limits on the number of applications per family, as long as every child is enrolled in school. SWIMMING
KOOTINGAL MOONBI SWIMMING CLUB
Kootingal-Moonbi Swimming Club coaches work with all swimmers in our C, B & A Squads to monitor, correct and fine tune their strokes to improve their ability and speed. Our Mini Squad is for those children who can confidently swim 25m freestyle but who may need close monitoring to correct their stroke and improve their ability in other strokes.
