Premier's Reading Challenge

Here are the long awaited pics of those students who received Gold and Platinum certificates on their completion of the  Premier's Reading Challenge.

World Read Aloud Day

Tomorrow Feb 1st I will be encouraging the students and teachers to read aloud to each other.

The power of the human voice cannot be underestimated.

Library Helpers

I am always needing help with book covering, so please email me or send a message with your child if you can help. No experience necessary, on the job training provided. You can cover here at school or do it at home. 

BOOK CLUB

Scholastic bookclub brochures will come home tomorrow with the eldest child and on Wednesday with the new kindergarten students.  New students will have an information letter attached. 

By ordering from bookclub our school receives a commission which in turn is utilised to purchase resources for our students. 

Online Reading

This year at St Nicholas School we have so many ways students can access books for information and reading for enjoyment. As the term progresses ask your child about this.
