Olympic Change Maker award

Millie Belleville (Year 11) and Nat Desylva (Year 12) have been nominated to receive the  Olympic Change Maker award, formerly known as the Pierre De Coubertin award.

This award is given to students in Years 10 to 12 who have displayed Olympic qualities and leadership within the school sports program or within a community. They each prepared a video with an overview of their involvement in sport, commitment to their community and the benefits of these relationships.

Millie and Nat will be recognised at a later date in an assembly and ceremony run in each state by the AOC.

Intermediate Netball

On Tuesday 13 August, the intermediate A and B netball teams took place in a round robin against several other teams. Both the teams played amazingly well and put in an enormous amount of effort which gained them spots in the finals.

The finals were very close and competitive, with the score alternating by one or two points each time. Ultimately, the A team won their final by four points but unfortunately the B team lost by three points.

Overall it was a thrilling day in which the girls bonded and had some fun.
