Year 10 River Cruise

Dancing the night away 

Year 10 students celebrated the end of the school year with a river cruise on the Swan.

Here's what they said about it:

"The river cruise was a unique experience. It was really fun and there was lots of dancing. The food was good, and the ultimate vibe was really cool. The songs on the DJ were fun and the whole year group seemed to get along, despite our differences. "The evening started off slowly, with everyone settling in and eating with their friends. People then decided to start vibing and dancing in the middle of the boat. Everyone else started joining in the fun, and things quickly turned into a dance rave. Everyone unleashed moves they haven’t before, it was very hype. People took breaks often to chill and cool off outside in the balcony, but then quickly came back to the dance floor afterwards. "The Year 10 river cruise was really good and enjoyable. I was so surprised when the DJ was that good and how he kept us dancing all night long, we didn't even need the limbo or mini games to occupy everyone in case the hype died down, but everyone kept dancing with the best playlist I've ever heard.

The prizes for the games? Well, we just gave the glow-sticks and bubbles to random people and chocolates and snakes went to the lucky ticket draw, everyone was satisfied with that."                                                                                                                 Ana Frances Gabriel

"I had a great time during the river cruise. It was very fun and the pizza was not bad. The music was amazing and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere aboard the ship which made most people dance. The boat was small which made the cabin hot and those who danced came home very sweaty. During the cruise we had the best time together. Most people danced which was great to see and everyone enjoyed the experience very much. Everyone danced together as a group thanks to the limited space.
