Dining Hall

In the survey of the food that is served you asked for more photos, so here they are. We are willing to include photos and information in every Boarding Buzz if that is something parents would like to see more often. 

We allow our students one Flexischools lunch order per week. Unfortunately, our canteen staff can’t facilitate making another 80 lunches every day. We stagger our Flexischools lunch order day for this reason. This term Endeavour students ordered Flexischools on Monday, Eclipse on Tuesday, Breaksea on Wednesday, and Anchorage on Thursday. This is rotated from term to term so the students can access a different special each term. Burgers on Wednesday are very popular. 

Our leaders meet with Chef Nick each term to discuss the upcoming menu and food options.  All boarding meals were discussed from breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner all covered.  The students were very positive about the food served in the dining hall and gave Chef a few suggestions that he could add to the menu.

Christmas dinner was held on Thursday night and was a great success. We asked our boarders to dress up a little. To be precise, we asked them not to wear their footy shorts and ugg boots and to wear Christmas flair. We invited key support people from boarding and the day school, who have helped our students throughout the year. There was a prize for the best dressed student, won by Tom Hams and a competition for the boarding house with the best Christmas themed tables which was taken out by Breaksea House. It was lovely to also celebrate our House Leaders for 2022 and hear a Christmas message from the chaplain, Mrs Cooper. We thank the dining staff for putting on a wonderful Christmas evening. 

We also congratulate Bethany Robertson on winning the Boarding Photo Competition this year, with Darcy Barrett a close second and Jasmine Bradshaw third.  Well done.
