The Zoo was Fun

The Zoo was really fun and we got to learn about animals and their teeth.  We got to explore the zoo.

Iggy, the iguana, was really cute.  He was pistachio green and I got to pat him.  His tail was really firm.

Inter-school Debate with Reservoir High

The year 7 debating team, John, Aaron and Finn with Sam being the Chairperson, had the opportunity to practise their debating skills with an inter-school debate at Reservoir High School.  It was an excellent opportunity to practise and develop their skills.  Kew High debating captains took on the leadership roles of adjudication and timekeeping.

 The prepared topic was, "We should ban the use of animals in sport."  All speakers presented well prepared, persuasive arguments.

 Congratulations to our team and we look forward to inviting Reservoir students to debate at Kew High School next year.
