The Cycle Continues
The cycle continues. Another term has come and gone. Another twelve months has passed. Each year seems to go by more quickly.
We are in the fortunate position to be able to celebrate another year with so many activities and events, programs that engage our students and extend them, staff who are committed and work hard and a community that supports us. We have continued to ensure the wellbeing of all is central and to focus on enabling our students to be their personal best.
We have hosted students from our sister schools in Vietnam and Japan and students from Kew have travelled to homestays in Japan. Others practised early in the morning from the start of the year before their participation in State and National volleyball competitions and games in New Zealand. A group has commenced preparation for World Challenge next year. Six year 9 students spent the term at the Gnurad-Gundidj Campus, Glenormiston, experiencing life away from home. These are just a few of the many opportunities on offer for our students to participate in activities outside the classroom, to be challenged and supported.
Another Year 12 group has been farewelled and we wish them well for their future. A new cohort for 2015 at Year 7 will soon be welcomed and introduced to their new surroundings. It has been another busy but positive year.
