The Behaviour Strategy

Fortnightly focus:
Use respectful words and actions – Primary
Actively engage in learning - Secondary
K - 6 students will participate in lessons to support ways they can speak respectfully to others, and students in Years 7 - 12 will participate in lessons that explicitly focus on strategies to engage in their learning positively.
The learning intention for this behaviour lesson is:
- Students know the expectation at BCS of showing respect and being active learners.
- Students understand their responsibility to demonstrate respectful and engaging behaviours at school.
The success criteria of this lesson will include:
- Through classroom discussion, students communicate an understanding of what respectful and engaging behaviours look like.
- Students feel respected.
- Students participate fully in classes.
