Principal's Report

Dear Families,

I sincerely thank our school community for their support over the past week, it has been new territory for us. As you are aware, we have had three cases of COVID-19 in our school. Department protocol has been followed, unfortunately at times it takes a few hours for their official response. I have provided feedback on these timelines. Currently we have Grade 1 students and staff quarantining, they are expected back at school on Thursday 11th November. Grade 2 students, due to not being Primary Close Contacts, are not required to isolate.

CUP DAY

Students in Grade 3 were very excited to create their own CUP DAY headwear. I was fortunate enough to have one made for me as well. Students certainly had a lot of fun making their creations.

CRAZY COLOUR WEEK

We’re 2 weeks out from our School Fun Run’s Crazy Colour Day! We hope students are working hard towards their fundraising goals! Students have been doing a wonderful job seeking online sponsors for this event.

Currently Grade 3 top the Leader Board.

Did you know that you can WIN a $20,000 Ultimate Family Package by setting up your student profile online and raising $1 online? Just head over to schoolfunrun.com.au. Once you’ve created your page there are some great things you can do. You can sign up for online fundraising, pick your target prize and even become a fundraising superstar!

Thanks for supporting us with your fundraising efforts, we look forward to celebrating with an amazing day on Tuesday 16th November.

Along with the FUN RUN we are planning some other exciting activities for the week. One of the activities is to tie-dye a T-shirt or pair of socks. If you would like your child to participate in this activity, they will need to bring along an item of white clothing to tie-dye.

Have a great week,

Regards Heather
