Celebrating Diversity

Cultural Diversity Week March 17-21 was packed with events and activities from calligraphy writing in Japanese, to encounters with characters from the French revolution in a captivating French incursion presented by Les Batons francais. 

Other events included Sushi lunches for staff and students; a Chinese Dragon and Lion  dance, watched with awe by hundreds of students; an international soccer match in which the French team were the victors,(Vive La France!) and an International Art competition.

Congratulations to the winners of the  Art Competition:  Mahalia Kluwer (Yr 11), Alicia Patsavauras (Yr 7B) and Cherry Lu (Yr 11). A special consolation prize was also awarded to Jane Nguyen (Yr 7B)
