HOUSE SOCCER

Teachers Upstaged by Students

The Annual House Soccer Competition was held during Week 7 of Term 1. A fantastic turn out by all, as we had 20 teams competing from all year levels. After some tight contests, the Year 9 Class of A  team battled it out against the Year 12 #TeamNosh  for the title of 2014 champions.

A close game, the Year 9s scored the winning goal just on the siren. A great display of soccer ability and sportsmanship by all. On the Friday, both teams battled it out against the teachers. A great crowd was in attendance, cheering on the students and teachers, but unfortunately the teachers were upstaged by both the Year 9 and Year 12 teams.

Well done to all involved, with particular thanks to the Sport Captains, Marcus Vaiano and Christian Alevizos, for organising the week long tournament. They were ably supported by the House Captains. Stay tuned for the next House based tournament next term!
